There are a number of resources you can use to support your studies in this subject.
You can use the following:
- How to Study Business Law (3rd edition) by Crosling and Murphy.
- Your subject guide.
- This website. Browse through the site and check out the information and resources we have provided. In particular, note the section on questions and answers from a past tutorial program.
- Your tutors and lecturers. They are available to assist you if you have any questions or concerns.
- Your prescribed text: An Introduction to the Law of Contract by Graw.
The secret to success is to start early, that is, in the first week of semester. Keep up-to-date with your work and you will be fine.
At the Footscray Park campus, Helen Murphy will be conducting workshops this semester to assist you with your studies in the subject .Her focus in these sessions will be on assignment and exam preparation. If you need further assistance with assignment and exam preparation, Helen is located at Footscray Park campus in Building M Level 3(Room 3.024) in the Student Learning Unit.
As I stated earlier, it's important to start your studies in Week 1. Make sure you do the preparatory reading for lectures and tutorials. After the lectures, read through your notes and make sure they are clear and contain all the necessary content. These notes will form the basis of your revision. In addition, make sure you keep up with the weekly tutorial exercises. These will also form an important part of your revision.
It is highly recommended that you attend the assignment and exam preparation workshops.
